FRT Manager

Key Responsibilities: 
Lead and manage the Fiber Restore Team responsible for handling fiber cuts and network outages.
Ensure timely restoration of fiber services in accordance with defined SLAs.
Coordinate with field technicians, network operations teams, contractors, and utility agencies during restoration activities.
Monitor outage tickets, restoration progress, and escalation management.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for major fiber outages and implement preventive measures.
Manage resource allocation, shift planning, and on-call support schedules.
Review restoration performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures during field activities.
Maintain accurate outage records, restoration reports, and management dashboards.
Support network maintenance activities and disaster recovery preparedness.

Requirements: Strong knowledge of fiber optic networks, cable infrastructure, splicing, and restoration processes.
Experience in handling fiber cuts, emergency restoration, and network outage management.
Understanding of OTDR testing, fiber route management, and fault localization.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multiple restoration activities simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
Excellent communication and incident management skills.
Familiarity with GIS systems, ticketing platforms, and network monitoring tools.
Strong analytical and communication skills.    Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in telecom network operations, fiber maintenance, or restoration activities.
