Splicer

Key Responsibilities: 
Perform fusion and mechanical splicing of fiber optic cables.
Read and interpret network design drawings, splice diagrams, and schematics.
Conduct fiber testing using OTDR, power meters, and other testing equipment.
Troubleshoot fiber optic network issues and repair damaged cables.
Prepare splice enclosures, termination panels, and fiber distribution frames.
Maintain accurate records of splicing and testing results.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
Coordinate with project teams, engineers, and field technicians.
Perform preventive maintenance and inspections of fiber networks.

Requirements: 
ITI or equivalent technical qualification.
Experience in fiber optic splicing and testing preferred.
Knowledge of fusion splicing equipment and OTDR testing.
Ability to read cable route maps and network diagrams.
Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
Valid driving license
